"I will start by saying that moving from state to state can be overwhelming for many but moving from a tiny sand bar off of the cost of Mass to the giant state of Texas was quite the culture shock(in a good way) When my list of "to-do's" came down to choosing a car insurance company I quickly realized how expensive car insurance was here compared to back home! However, after reading 5 star reviews on Trish at State Farm I figured that would be next call. My call was received by a very polite and pleasant employee of Trish's named Tania. She not only helped me navigate out of an area that I thought I would find State Farm she was also patient with me while I gave her my landmark(a restaurant)which she informed me on a quick side note had great wings! Great to know as Im a "foodie" at heart along with being new to the area. Upon arriving I was greeted with smiles and "hellos" and a hand shake. Tania was thorough and explained along the way the different coverage prices. She was open minded to my ideas and very quickly and efficiently plugged in and pulled up info on pricing. I had a lot of questions and she answered all of them in language I could understand versus insurance lingo that can sometimes be hurled quickly at a consumer to get them to sign. It is quite refreshing to report that I wasn't rushed into any commitment and actually came back the next day to accept State Farm as my new insurance company! The side banter about great restaurants, being in Texas versus a resort area from which i came and favorite foods was a very welcome change of pace and made me feel at home and part of the excitement Austin has to offer. I will add in that the decor in the small office was attractive, artsy, clean and welcoming. The final feel good moment was when Tania gave me a perfect Welcome/Thanks State Farm tote bag with goodies including a coffee mug! Upon leaving (with tote in hand!) I was able to quickly meet Trish and tell her what a gem Tania was to have on her team. State Farm for the win!
